Step 1 | Part 1: Each of you shall take it in turns to introduce the work you have selected for this weeks Pretask by answering the set questions.

1) What pathway (one day workshop) is it from?

A photographer introduced to us by the teacher in Photography&Moving class.

2) Explain why you picked this piece? What is it about it that made this stay in your mind?

After I went to research the photographer, I liked the style and feeling of and I wanted to take pictures of him.

3) What was it about this workshop that you felt a connection with?

The teacher introduced the photographers to us in the hope that we could learn something about them or give us some good advice to lead us to discover and explore ourselves.

4) Explain what this work tells you about the pathway’s relationship to the weekly theme?

First of all, the photographer's main behavior is photography and their works, and the emotions they want to convey through the photos. This is exactly what we need to learn.

Step 1 | Part 2: Pick a slide presented by one of your classmates which is from a pathway that interests you and later today;

1) Reflect in writing on the works relationship to the weekly theme.

Our first photography class of the week is about taking portraits, but we need to take our own portraits before we can take someone else's. What Interests me about this student's work is that if she doesn't explain her work, I may not know what the photographer is trying to express. Although I have observed some details, I am not sure. I think it is very good for photographers to express their emotions and positions in this way.

2) Explain what is it about this pathway/workshop that made it more natural for you to make work.

First of all, I like photography, and when I understand the works of artists, I also learn and think about their ideas and ways of creation.
